 What is the difference b/w keywords and tags?

 SEO uses tags and keywords to attract visitors to get traffic to your site. Keywords and tags usually mean the same thing but they both play two different roles. Only the main difference between these the tool to find keywords and tags is different.

What is the difference b/w keywords and tags?

 Keywords:

Keywords are phrases/ideas or words that we can find on the internet to find something. Your targeted audiences use those keywords to search or find your product or services and also keywords are used to help to tell Google about your website content. The keywords are actually part of the content they appear on the same page as the content.

Tags:

Tags are self-assigned labels we use to categorize the post. Basically, tags are used to optimize the content of your website. Tags were originally used in blogs so search engines would know what the content is all about. Another important role that tags play is that they help organize the content of your site.

 

Summary:

• Keywords are used anywhere but tags not

• Tags are used to optimize the content but keywords are not a part of the optimization

• keywords are part of the content but tags not

• Keywords can be available anywhere tags are available only on blogs
